Melis Örnekoğlu Selçuk

Melis Örnekoğlu Selçuk is a PhD student and researcher at the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Product Design at Ghent University. She began her research journey in November 2020, joining the Erasmus+ KA2 project 'T-CREPE' Textile Engineering for Co-creation Paradigms in Education as a researcher. Melis holds an undergraduate degree from the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at Izmir University of Economics, and an MSc in Industrial Design from Izmir Institute of Technology. From 2017 to 2021, she worked as a research assistant at the Department of Industrial Design at Izmir University of Economics. Her research interests include game-based learning, co-creation, designing for and with children, and the Design Thinking methodology.
